The Nimmo is a frog-like Neopet introduced as one of the original Neopets at the sites launch. In general they are wise and thoughtful. Nimmos often choose to dedicate themselves to intellectual study - which makes them common as booksellers (such as those at Words of Antiquity, Sutek's Scrolls, and the Neopia Central Book Shop), or honing their martial arts as typified by Ryshu.

Nimmos are deeply spiritual creatures, who often seek enlightenment. In the Neopets Trading Card Game, Nimmos are associated with the element of water.

Battledome

In the Battledome, Nimmos take 20% less damage from water attacks. They can also learn six abilities:

Nimmo Leap - Attack: none; Defence: 2 x Earth; available from level 2;
Nimmo Levitate - Attack: 2 x Air; Defence: none; available from level 12;
Nimmo Chant - Attack: 2 - 3 x Air, 2 - 3 x Light; Defence: none; available from level 20;
Nimmo Fire Stare - Attack: unknown; Defence: unknown; available on Nimmo Day only;
Nimmo Dodge - Attack: unknown; Defence: unknown; available on Nimmo Day only;
Nimmo Lightning - Attack: unknown; Defence: unknown; available on Nimmo Day only.

There are also twenty pieces of equipment that can only be used by the Nimmo.
