Senator Palpus was one of the greatest generals of the Sakhmet defence force before he retired many years ago. Now the great general is one of Sakhmet's most popular senators. Since his retirment, the general's belly has continued to expand, which is probably why he quit the army so many years ago.
As a senator, Palpus was one of the few if not the only person to see opening Sakhmet to the rest of Neopia would be profitable.
