A '''Bottled Faerie''' is a [[faerie]] that has been captured by [[Balthazar]] the bounty hunter and imprisoned in a small glass bottle.  Bottled Faeries act as [[item]]s on the [[Neopets]] website. They are sold at [[Neopian Magic Shop|Kauvara's Magic Shop]] and are also sometimes given out as prizes for certain [[game]]s of chance, such as the [[Alien Aisha Vending Machine]] and [[Tombola]].  There are six types of bottled faeries, each of which correspond to one of the six [[Faerie#Faerie types|types of faeries]] that inhabit Neopia.  If a [[Neopet]] releases a faerie from its bottle prison, the newly freed faerie will bless the Neopet with a special ability that can be used in the [[Battledome]].
