Since the Daily Dare challenge began in 2006, it has become a yearly celebration showcasing the best in Neopets' games in a month-long challenge that pits your computer gaming skills against that of Aristotle A. Avinroo (for those l33t gamers) and Abigail Avinroo (for those non-gamers who still want to participate for bragging rights).
Those who have participated in the Daily Dare of prior years will be familiar with Aristotle A. Avinroo and Abigail Avinroo, but hold your horses because this year they bring along their cousin, Lulu, to join in. (And you thought you already had enough to handle as it was. Lulu's addition heralds the coming of the new Daily Dare NC Challenge.) This year, three Daily Dare components will run simultaneously: (i) Daily Dare; (ii) Double Dare; and (iii) Daily Dare NC Challenge.

Daily Dare Rules
This year, Daily Dare will begin at 12 AM Neopian Standard Time on Monday, March 2nd, 2009, and end at 12 AM Neopian Standard Time Wednesday, April 1st, 2009.
Before choosing your Daily Dare challenge, you might want to practice the game a few times.
Once you select a Challenge, your choice cannot be changed.
Double Dare Rules
Four of the 30 Daily Dare challenges will also be Double Dare challenges. If you accept the Double Dare challenge, you must beat or match AAA's score. Once you have chosen to take the Double Dare challenge, you cannot change your mind. However, you are free to decline the Double Dare challenge and still play Daily Dare as usual.
If you've beaten or matched AAA's score by the end of the day of the Double Dare, you'll receive both the AAA and Abigail prize for that day. If you haven't bested AAA before the end of the day, you won't receive either of the prizes for that day. Beating or matching Abigail's score in a Double Dare challenge will still make you eligible for the Uberiffic and Spifftastic trophies, even though you will not receive the Abigail prize for the day.
Daily Dare NC Challenge Rules
For the first time ever, Neopets is releasing the Daily Dare NC Challenge. It will begin at 12 AM Neopian Standard Time, Monday, March 2nd, 2009 and end at 12 AM Neopian Standard Time, Wednesday, April 1st, 2009.
The Daily Dare NC Challenge allows you to challenge Lulu, a Cybunny gamer, at 30 different games. The games are the same as those in the regular Daily Dare challenge, but the prizes you earn if you beat or match Lulu's score are different. If you successfully complete all 30 games, you will also earn an exclusive bonus NC item.
The NC Challenge can be played in addition to the regular Daily Dare and does not replace it. To participate in the NC Challenge, you must purchase a Game Ticket(s) from the NC Mall Daily Dare Shop, or receive one as a gift from another player.

Changes in 2009
- Automatic win over Abigail despite challenging AAA - If you challenge AAA but fail to beat his score, then you will be awarded with a win over Abigail in the instance that your submitted score is higher than hers. If this happens, you will be awarded Abigail's prize for that challenge, and you will be eligible for the uberiffic or spifftastic trophy awarded at the end of the challenge. If you're dead-set on obtaining the l33t trophies through defeating only AAA, then double check your score before you submit.
Bugs and Glitches
- Can't send score in offline mode - No one knows why this occurs. The first reported instance of this bug was on day one of this year's challenge in Hasee Bounce. Don't worry, however, as the score is sending and the prize is available when you go to collect it.
