Princess Vyssa
Princess Vyssa is the Usul daughter of King Coltzan III, and is loved by the inhabitants of Sakhmet and praised for her beauty. She was going to be next in line to her father's throne, but the task has been left to Princess Amira.
Following Coltzan's death and previous to Amira's accession, her inexperience forced Vyssa to rely heavily on her Royal Council (including Senators Palpus and Barca), whom she disliked. Vyssa often escaped her stifling duties by disguising herself as an average citizen of Sakhmet and leaving the palace, where she hoped to learn all that she had been previously sheltered from by her father.

Princess Vyssa was 1 of 5 suspects believed to have poisoned King Coltzan III's food at a feast. Ultimately, it was revealed that rival Princess Sankara poisoned King Coltzan III, clearing Vyssa, who had Sankara arrested.

A sandstorm rages in the Lost Desert, and Princess Vyssa seeks a relic, the Medallion of the Wind, designed to control the weather.

- Vyssa's petpet is Tut, a Khamette, and her other favourite possession is her golden hairbrush.
- Vyssa makes a cameo appearance on the second page of Chapter 2 in the Lost Desert Plot.
- She is referred to as "Empress Vyssa" in the Neopets TCG card, Crest of Sakhmet.
