Y - B - R - Y - B - Y - R - B - Y
Stop with this sequence as soon as you get your room message, and look for the white scroll there. This sequence covers every possible order of blue, yellow, and red, however.
does that actually work as opposed to reading them like this?
ryb, rby, byr, bry, ybr, yrb
Doubletee your method will save alot of time but does it really work, I just read the 10 and somewhere in there the message will come up telling me the white scroll location?
SS:)

Each of the 6 possible orders of reading the scroll are present within a 9 scroll sequence. Check them!

Sound theory, but that sequence won't work. It has YBY and no YRB

i need some help with my third crystal...this color thing is confusing, especially after reading some of the other posts. here are my colors:
first crystal: BxBBBYYxRRRYRYxx
second: BxGPGYOxRRPOOOxx
so do i "subtract" colors? this would make my new set xxYRYxRxxxBRYRxx
or do i break down the second colors into just primaries and ignore the first set: BxBYBRBYYYRxRRBRYRYRYRxx
from the first post it sounds like i do this second suggestion, but that makes twenty colors, and i only have sixteen tablet pieces, excluding blanks.
and which locations do i go to? the ones in order of the catalog still? and which scroll do i read? the same as the catalog (i.e. if the room is a blue set, do i read the blue set scroll)?
i think my new favorite color is black....easy, simple black......

Ok, before I go to bed, a quick summary:
You just match the colours to your tablet as they are on your wall right now (including blanks and secondary). Then you just throw away the blanks and the primary colours. This way you'll keep 8 symbols with each a secondary colour. Now you put these in reversed order (so the last one on your tablet goes first now). When you've done this, break down every secondary (for example: purple = blue + red). Then go to your directory, look up both the red and blue one of this symbol and then go to your repository and read both the blue and red one of this symbol (in the order of your directories, so if they're yellow-blue-red, then read first blue, then red). When you've read both, this will give you a location in the repository. Go here and read the secondary-coloured scroll there.
I hope this is clear enough...

I'm actually finding it handy. When I read a scroll and my pet is no longer sand, I know I can go back and try again to find a puzzle trap for if I ever make it through all this random order scroll reading.
