Of course, it's silly of me to think that they will actually answer important questions, such as "Will you make a system that users can reply to if they are falsely reported?" or "Are you ever going to release the Darigan Pteri?" If the editorial ever does show up we'll get something like "What's a Techo?" Bleh.

Then you'll certainly not see my "I wanted the Battle Duck avatar really bad but you canceled the Dinners plot. Can you release that and the other avatars for us to use?" question :p

I hope I can find one to sell you then! :D

Agreed. A few days is nothing. Just think of how long we waited for the lenny conundrums to reappear.

AH! I remember that! :D

Anywho, they wont answer any important questions because they don't want to embarass themselves too much. Occasionally they'll answer one, but mostly they'll just answer ones like:
What flavor of gum do you like?

I wouldn't pay quite that much, but I do really want one! The colors (and the whole fire theme) would look really nice with my fire Cybunny and her black gruslen, Coal. If they don't release them, I think I'll just get a flankin... but I prefer fire ryte.

Yeah, that one's a flankin. A fire ryte isn't actually on fire... I think it's cuter, though. Its colors match the fire cybunny better. If you have a Neoitems account, you can see the unreleased petpetpets here.

Pfft. Who said you couldn't?

TNT and starting to get on my nerves just...in general. Editorials are nearly always late, they're listening to people who scored less than 100 points in the war, and changing how it works. Erm, what is that about?
Things they were supposed to do are being put off, (What else is new?) and some things I had really looked forward to, like the Guild Master's Dinner Logic Puzzle, are gone completely.
Excuses only work so many times.

My question was where the mammal Neopets that done hatch from eggs (Lupe, Wocky, Acara, whatever) come from. o0o If they ever put it in there, the answer will probably be, "THE LENNY FLIES TO NEOPIAN'S HOUSES WITH A BABY NEOPET IN A BLANKET AND DROPS IT ON THEIR POARCHES OMG LOLZ LOLZ" o0o

I remember that. Wow, that was painful.

The difference here is that the Editorial is the only time that users have any communication whatsoever with the staff. It is absolutely invaluable to the site and it should be #1 priority every week with no exceptions.

I was under the impression that ALL neopets hatched from eggs. O.o';

Maybe they are like Platypus... mammals that lay eggs!

I totally agree with this statement. The editorial is one of the things I look forward to every week. Usually I am disappointed at some of the lame questions they answer, but every once in awhile there is a question that gets answered that actually has quite a bit of meat to it.

On the minus side some of the "meaty questions", though ... even when they answer something important and say "they'll look into it ...", many times nothing seems to get done about it anyway.

For instance, the 2 new stocks that they were going to put into the stock market ... it still took them weeks to implement it ... even though they first put it in the news, and then answered a question in the editorial about why it wasn't active. If you're going to answer a question about it ... at least put it at the top of the "to do" list for the next week.

On a lighter note, the top 4 things I look forward to are (in no particular order):

1: Lenny Conundrum
2: Editorial
3: Mystery Pic
4: Better than You

(I'd have to think longer to put them in actual order)

I haven't been good at the Better than You game for what seems like a year ... but I still have hopes that a game I am good at will show up. :) (I actually have won twice in my neopets life ... only the bronze both times, though.)

The editorial is the only item I read in the Times. If it isn't up, I wish they'd say that in the ad in the news about the Times. Then when it does go up they should advertise it. As it is, I have to locate the recent issue, wait for it to load, click on editorial, wait for it to load, and then find out it's not up.
