Editing the protected article[edit]

There are a couple spelling and grammar errors that are driving me crazy. "Seeking reveal" instead of "seeking to reveal," "Scietology," "advancment," "arguement," and "Austraillian" are the ones I've spotted thus far. Also, the use of the hyphen in Anti-Neopian is inconsistent. Normally, I would just pop in and fix little things like that myself, but this particular topic is locked (for good reason), so I just thought I'd put it here in the hopes that someone who can edit it will fix them. --Mirmadon 14:46, 1 Jun 2006 (CDT)

Edits have been made...i hope i got them all. Also, there is a list in which you can add proper word spellings, and they are used with the wiki coding here.--Jacob 18:15, 1 Jun 2006 (CDT)

AntiNeopian Movement[edit]

Since this article is protected, I would like to mention several improvements which I believe should be added to the article:

  1. "AntiNeopian" is usually spelled as one unhyphenated word.
  2. AntiNeopian (antineopian.org) is listed as "The AntiNeopian" under "External Links".
  3. I believe the second website should be replaced with a larger site, such as DWN!
  4. The article is missing several points which the AntiNeopian Movement is strongly focused on, including overcommercialization, reports of spyware and trojans, and opposition to the Neopets Premium "service".

Sorry about the delay getting back to you. I can add that site in for you: in regards to your forth point, if you can detail the arguements here, I could update the article :¬). --Macbeth 16:09, 30 Aug 2006 (CDT)

Seeing as how you say it's "AntiNeopian", should this article be renamed "AntiNeopian Movement"? --Jacob 16:32, 30 Aug 2006 (CDT)

The Future of the Article?[edit]

This article was first created by a user possibly from one of the antineopian sites, as a ways to advertize the site i believe. I find it hard to distinguish what this article is about...so far it has nothing but arguements it has about Neopets, which really could JUST be on the controvery section in Neopets. It this is about the website, or the movement, all areguements SHOULD go there.

But then what is left of the article? The Next step would be to make it about the websites and what they are about. Seeing as there are 100's of informational/hate sites on the internet about "bringing neopets down", having all of them listed in the Fansites category would be silly, and COULD just be labeled as "The Antineopian Movement". In that case, only one or a few should be pointed out as the bigger ones.

Bah, i feel i'm rambling. Hope i'm being understood when i say this, as i do feel this needs to be done in some way. What's the next step? --Jacob 16:32, 30 Aug 2006 (CDT)

I think this article is too long to merge into a section with the neopets article: if it was merged, soon enough people would be talking about splitting it up again. --Macbeth 16:45, 30 Aug 2006 (CDT)
