Shumi is a Green Scorchio and Captain Tuan's First Mate on the Cyodrake's Gaze. Usually seen wherever the Captain happens to be, he is the only crew member not to have a story about Hoban's fall.

Shumi played a minor role in the plot and has very few lines, but it was he who suggested that users should help Captain Tuan in the search for Hoban.

- As of October 2010, Shumi is featured in 2 different items, including a stamp.
- Shumi is one of the characters in the game Eye of the Storm, always pointing to the left towards the ship.
