- Princess Lunara has a Kazeriu as a pet, as revealed in the game The Search for Princess Lunara. In Neopets Magazine issue 22, the story "A Cure for Loneliness" reveals that her Petpet was given to her as an egg by Hinchero, the aged Mynci advisor to the Emperor of Shenkuu. At first, Lunara took the egg to be a rock, but since she had nothing else to do besides stare out of her bedroom window all day long, she cared for it almost as if it were a companion. Several weeks later, the Kazeriu hatched, much to Lunara's surprise and delight.
- In the game Neopets Puzzle Adventure, a Kazeriu Petpet can be used to make a specifed token on the game board immune to being destroyed, moved, or converted for the remainder of the battle, without ending the users turn.
