Island Merchandise, commonly known as junk items, is a type of item which is sold in Tiki Tack of Mystery Island. Introduced on (need date) with the Tiki Tack, Island Merchandise features tourist like items, usually mementos of when one visited Mystery Island. While Island Merchandise is one of the oldest item types in Neopets, it serves very few uses, and therefore hardly bought from the Tiki Tack or from user shops. This makes the stock of the Tiki Tack always full, due to not many users buying from it.
Also, the Tombola game gives out free prizes of Island Merchandise, lowering the prices of them in user shops while the price in the Tiki Tack remain the same, making new stock all the more difficult to obtain. One of the only usable Island Merchandise items are the different coloured "Bottles of sand," which can be combined at the Cooking Pot to form new bottles of sand used as Furniture. This keeps their price on average 50 Neopoints, the most expensive being Bottle of Purple Sand, which is over 50,000 Neopoints.
