Benny
Benny, sometimes called Benny the Blade, is a Purple Bruce and a member of Captain Scarblade's pirate crew. He is dangerous and untrustworthy, and he is also highly skilled with a knife. Because of this, pirates and barkeeps alike try to stay on his good side.
During the Curse of Maraqua plot, Benny was one of the Battledome opponents that were available to Maraquan Warriors. He was the easiest opponent during the fourth wave of challengers that was released on June 1, 2005. Users received 12 plot point every time they defeated him.
Curse of Maraqua[edit]

During Captain Scarblade's attack on the Black Pawkeet, Benny snuck up behind Garin and whacked him in the head with a club, causing the Usul to fall into the water unconscious. Later, after Garin returned from his first visit to Maraqua, Benny overheard Garin telling Talak about the marvelous underwater city he had seen. Benny relayed this information to Captain Scarblade.
When Garin stole back the Black Pawkeet and the arms that Scarblade had stored upon it, it was Benny who first noticed the ship's absence. When Scarblade decided to go ahead with the invasion of Maraqua despite this, Benny navigated him to the location of new Maraqua.
Benny fought alongside the rest Scarblade's crew during the pirate's attack on Maraqua. When King Kelpbeard dispatched the third battalion to the battlefield, it was Benny who informed Captain Scarblade of Maraqua's new reinforcements, prompting the captain to call out his own reserves. When King Kelpbeard personally entered the fray, Benny tried to attack the king, but he was held back by Swordmaster Talek. Shortly after this, King Kelpbeard was able to defeat Captain Scarblade, causing Benny and the other pirates to retreated along with their captain.
