Alice
Alice is a shy, quiet yet beautiful purple Zafara. She is the mother of Bruno, Sophie and Reginald and she is the wife of Edmund.

The Tale of Woe[edit]

She first appears in the beginning, looking after her poor but loving family. It is not clear what the potion from Mr Krawly did to her, but it did not seem to create any physical difference. She and her husband, Edward, were forced to watch Bruno driven from the town at the hands of the people he had grown up with, from the relative safety of their home. Toward the end, she is reunited with her family, as she has been out of contact from both Sophie and Bruno for over 10 years. Sophie is glad to see her family again but leaves Neovia to return to her shack, claiming that she does not feel at home in Neovia any longer.
