Scintilly is a Robotic Petpet who accompanies Dr Landelbrot on his various endeavors. Though "it's" present species is of Petpet is unknown, it's more or less be confirmed to be a "Robot Petpet".[1]
History
Moltara Mystery
Scintilly was first encountered when users came upon the Water Tower Laboratory. It rewarded users for collecting solving panel puzzle used to activate the portal leading to The Coincidence. As it's name was not given at the time, it was simply referred to as "Robot Petpet".
Mission: Capture the Comets
After passing through the portal, users are now aboard the The Coincidence, a spaceship that orbits Neopia. Once there, users have the option of either completing the next step in the Moltara Mystery, or they could visit Scintilly outside of the ship by purchasing "gear" at the NC Mall and help it capture comets for prizes.
It was also at this time that Scintilly's name was revealed.
