Money Tree

The Money Tree is a sentient tree located in Neopia Central. People can get free items or money from the Money Tree. These items are donated by either other users, Money Tree Ghosts or give away characters. It is not possible to take Neopoints from the Money Tree if you have more than 20,000 Neopoints.

Donors

• A user can donate an item by choosing "Donate" in the item's option list. Money can be donated at the Money Tree by filling out the form at the bottom of the page.

• A random event involves a Money Tree Ghost stealing a random (low) number of neopoints from a user and putting them under the Money Tree. When there are no donations, it is claimed the Money Tree Ghosts stole them.

• Certain inhabitants of Neopia will a set times donate a big amount of items of a set theme. Balthazar donates bottled Faeries at 7 AM on Wednesdays. Quinton donates healthy food at 7 AM every day. The Lupe Snack Pack donate chocolate at 5:50 PM on Sundays. And finally, tropical food is every Monday at 10:45 AM & PM.

Trivia

• On August 22, 2001, Neopets who went to the Money Tree came down with a Disease, and it was reported on the news page that users should keep away. The sickness at the Tree passed away the next day.
• Users with 20,000 NP or above cannot take NP from the Money Tree. Like the Soup Faerie at the Soup Kitchen, the Tree knows how much money is in your bank and shop till.
• You can only take 10 items per day at the Money Tree.
• As of August 2009, the Money Tree is featured in 9 items, along with 3 additional NC items. In total, there are 12 Money Tree items.
