Neoquest
Neoqeust is a game within Neopets created by Mr. Insane.
Neoquest I
The original Neoquest puts you in the role of a Lupe (called "Neoquest Hero" as it's name is whatever your active Neopet is) in the world of Neopia 10,000 years ago. You controlled this one hero his/her quest to stem back the tide of evil.
When it first opened, it kept bringing down the Neopets server, which were incapable of handling the game at the time. As a temporary fix, the only allowed users to play in the mornings (Easter Standard Time), and prevented play from during any other time. This has since been changed, and Neoquest I can now be played at any given time during the day.
Neoquest II
The sequel Neoquest II also follows the same "in the past feel", but in actuality takes place in a hologram aboard a hijacked space ship. This surprised many players upon finding out, as they were expecting a story set in a medieval land. In this installation, a new battle system was implemented, along with the use of more party members (a total of 4).
Rumors and Tidbits
There have been talk of a Neoquest III in the works, but it's shrouded in mystery at this time.
