Tarla is an Ixi who runs a Shop of Mystery on the top of Terror Mountain. Within Tarla's Shop of Mystery are priced boxes, of which anything from something expensive to junk could be inside. prizes of the boxes range to below 1,000 Neopoints to thousands of Neopoints. And because the contents of the box are always random, a user could pay over 5k Neopoints for a Pile of Dung.

- Every once in awhile, the Neopets Toolbar alerts users to an event where Tarla is giving away free and expensive items. Users who don't have the toolbar can be alerted by others who do with the proper link. Giveaway is timed and doesn't last very long. Tarla can give various prizes, from stamps to painted petpets or even paintbrushes!
