In the Haunted Woods chapter of NeoQuest II, Rohane and his party save Count Von Roo from Meuka. Count Von Roo admits that he is an "evil, blood-sucking fiend" but makes a truce with Rohane and his party because they are both working toward the same goal.
Battledome Analysis
|
Count Von Roo's equiptment is unintimidating to anyone. He has only one item that consistently does 6 icons of damage, the Von Spider. His second best weapon is the Grand Lightning Beam, which does from 4 to 6 icons of damage.
The only thing a lower level Neopet would have to worry about is his 90 HP. Count Von Roo lacks any substantial defensive weapons, so he can be taken out quickly with a few strong snowballs, but since these are single use items this may be a bit expensive for some. Pets with very low HP should bring a healing item with them into the Batledome, but if there HP is that low, healing elixirs that are given occasionally for free at the Healing Springs should be about enough to fully heal that pets HP.
If you know you have found Count Von Roo but can't seem to challenge him don't worry, he can only be fought at night from 12 midnight to 1 AM NST. (If someone could please verify that time I'd appreciated it. It is only an educated guess of mine because that is the same time he is awake for Deadly Dice. This Neopian Times article only says "at certain times".)

Deadly Dice
- Full article: Deadly Dice
From 12 midnight to 1 AM NST, Neopians can visit Count Von Roo at Roo Island for a game of Deadly Dice.
In this game Neopians roll against Count Von Roo with a level at stake. If the player rolls lower than Count Von Roo, then their Neopet loses a level. If the player rolls higher than Count Von Roo, then their Neopet gains a level.
If the player ties Count Von Roo, then the player and Count Von Roo both roll again, and the levels at stake our doubled. (The second roll is for two levels, the third is for four levels, etc.)
There is an avatar for playing Deadly Dice. In order to get it the player must tie Count Von Roo and then win. The Deadly Dice avatar can actually be lost when playing the game again, so Avatar collectors usually only play until they get the avatar.
Trivia
- Because Count Von Roo is a vampire, he can only be challenged in the Battledome at certain hours in the night.
