The Missing Petpets involved the disappearance of Neopets' Petpets for 11 days. On June 12, 2003, everybody's Petpets went missing, with their picture replaced with the image of something suddenly disappearing. On June 16, 2003, TNT left this message...
"PETPETS VANISHING - Apparently more and more Petpets have gone missing... we still have no explanation. We think we know who is behind it, but there could be no way...he was defeated years ago...
It was assumed they referred to Dr. Frank Sloth. The next day, TNT said shady Grundo holding a filled sack was seen boarding a shuttle heading towards the Virtupets Space Station, leading people to believe thinking it had kidnapped the Petpets. Those who knew of Jelly World eventually discovered the missing Petpets at the Green Jelly, who were eating it. On June 23, 2003, the Petpets returned to their Neopets and TNT left the following message...
