Lutari Island

Lutari Island is a tropical island on the other side of Neopia filled with Lutari. Released on June 24, 2006, Lutari Island is similar to Mystery Island in that its inhabitants and land it filled with wild colours and natives. It's a very mysterious island, as it's not rooted to the ground, but floats from place to place, never in the same place, and not available to regular users. This is also because Lutari Island is an exclusive island available only to users who pay for Neopets Mobile offered by In-fusio.

Some features of the Island...

• Lutari Savings Bank - A branch of of the National Neopian Bank.
• Survival Academy - a place where users can train their Neopet. Only accept feathers from their native birds as payment. (similar to the Swashbuckling Academy and Training School)
• Wheel of Happiness - Can be spun every 30 minutes for 100 Neopoints.
• Fluorescent Pools - a place where a user's Neopet can be healed. (similar to Healing Springs)
• Bog of Charity - A place similar to the Money Tree.
• Briana's Quest - Briana is an Air Faerie who will sometimes give out special Quests.

Climate

The weather is apparently stormy everyday, according for the users without Neopets Mobile, as stated on the Lutari Island page. thats why you cant really see it through the fog on neopets.

Criticism

Many users feel it's unfair to have Lutari Island only available to Neopets Mobile users, which can't be had because of the cost or the lack of a Cingular cellphone, similar to the way some users don't have Neopets Premium. Unlike Neopets Premium, however, Lutari Island is located on the map. The fact that the Lutari themselves can be neither traded nor pounded is also irksome.
