The Neopedia is the official "on-site" Neopets encyclopaedia. It is a compilation of articles and stories about the world of Neopia, its history, its people, and its items which officially opened on the 31st of December, 2000.
The NeoDex is a fan-made encyclopaedia designed to "fill in the blanks" the Neopedia misses and provide a wider resource. Often while browsing the NeoDex, you will see external links to the articles in the Neopedia.
