Nigel is the Commodity Broker Chia, a successful stock broker on the Neopian Stock Market. He always charges a 20 NP fee for every selling of stock that you own. He sometimes appears as a random event and recommends a stock to buy. However, whether or not to follow this "tip" is up for the user to decide.
Trivia
Some early art on the Neopets Stock Market page showed Nigel in a red (Ferrari) sports car, though the Editorial in Neopian Times issue 300, claims that there are no cars in Neopia. Nigel has chest hair and a noticeable camel toe.
