Rohane "lives" in a town named Trestin with his "mother" in the simulation Meridell. In the Meridell simulation, Rohane is set on a quest to find the mastermind of the harsh creatures that appear in the simulation land.

He travels pass the other simulations (Terror Mountain, Lost Desert, Haunted Woods, and Faerieland) to solve issues that led to the lock down of the party's simulation room.

Rohane appeared to be a warrior type of character in NeoQuest II. ...to be added...

NeoQuest II

Rohane has the highest max HP in the game and generally does the most damage.

Abilities

Every time a character levels up they get one skill point to spend on abilities. A characters stops levelling up at level 60 and each ability maxes out with 15 skill points. Players pick carefully which four abilities to max out on a character.

Critical Attacks

Every attack Rohane does has a chance of doing more damage. This ability is a must to make Rohane into the offensive machine he is meant to be. Damage increase is always maxed before this, however, because damage increase will increase Rohane's consistent damage, as opposed to critical attacks, which only increases damage occasionally.

Damage Increase

This is pretty self explanatory, adding a skill point will increase the amount of damage Rohane can do when he attacks. This skill is critical for developing Rohane as a fighter and is always the first skill any NeoQuest II player will max out.

Combat Focus

Decreases the amount of damage Rohane takes when attacked. Since Rohane is already a solid character and has the highest HP this ability isn't needed. Skill points are better spent on offensive abilities.

Stunning Strikes

When Rohane strikes an opponent that opponent is out for a while before being able to take a turn again. This is usually the last ability to be maxed out, because damage increase is necessary to be able to actually hurt the opponent while it is stunned. Players usually max out innate melee haste before this ability too, so that Rohane can attack more while the enemy is stunned.

Battle Taunt

Using this skill causes opponents to attack Rohane more often. Players will often develop this skill later in the game with Velm supporting Rohane by healing. Often used during tougher boss battles to take pressure off of more fragile Mipsy.

Innate Magic Resistance

Decreases the amount of damage that magical attacks do to Rohane. Since Rohane is an offence oriented character this is mostly a waste of skill points.

Innate Melee Haste

Rohane gets to take a turn more often. Attacking more often means Rohane can do more damage. This ability not only makes Rohane into more of an offensive power, but it is a must later in the game when the party faces numerous monsters at once.

Victory Quotes

Rohane occasionally has a victory shout to say after winning a battle.

  • "Justice prevails again!"
  • "Our enemies fall before us!"
  • "We emerge victorious!"

Trivia

  • Rohane is featured in 2 stamps in the NeoQuest II collection and a plushie.
