Unfortunately, the 2010 Faerie Festival lasted for only three days. It was halted abruptly on September 20, 2010, when all of the faeries were turned to stone, leading to the The Faeries' Ruin plot. While it lasted, the 2010 festival worked as a daily. Similarly and as a consequence, the 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 festivals were abruptly cancelled due to lack of organization.

The 2017 Faerie Festival lasted for only eight days. It was closed on September 28, 2017, when Wraith Neopets and other evil figures smashed the festival grounds, leading to The Wraith Resurgence plot. While it lasted, the 2017 festival worked as a daily and had a Free the Faeries game.
