Nerkmid

A Nerkmid is a star-shaped coin that is used as currency for the Alien Aisha Vending Machine. Like the vending machine itself, Nerkmids are an invention of the Alien Aishas, and it is the Alien Aishas that distribute the Nerkmids throughout Neopia.

Obtaining Nerkmids

On the Neopets website, Nerkmids are a special category of items. They are not sold at any official Neopian shops. Instead, users will obtain one randomly-selected Nerkmid every time they receive the following random event:

An Alien Aisha gives you a <ITEM NAME>! Maybe it's time for a trip to the Vending Machine....

Nerkmids can also be obtained by landing on the Nerkmid space on the Wheel of Extravagance. They are also sometimes given out as a reward for fighting in the Premium-only Cosmic Dome. The Alien Aisha Vending Machine itself also give out Nerkmids, although it requires a Nerkmid to be used. Lastly, all Nerkmids are tradable, meaning that they can be purchased from other users using the Auction House, Trading Post, or user shops.

All Nerkmids

There are currently 20 different types of Nerkmid. It is unknown if the type of Nerkmid used has any affect on the prize that the user receives from the Alien Aisha Vending Machine.
