The Zafara is a kangaroo-like Neopet released on May 25, 2000 as the winner of a player-submitted Neopet competition, which originally resembled ferrets, but were later redesigned into the current appearance on (need date).
The Zafara is said to bring good luck to those who treat them well. Zafaras primarily have three spikes on their back, but this changes in accordance with different colours and characters.
