Escape from Kreludor is a puzzle game released on August 5, 2004. It follows the story of Gorix and Cylara who have just jettisoned out the side of the Virtupets Space Station in an attempt to flee the evil Dr. Sloth. Unfortunately he has noticed their escape and sent his Virtupets Fighters to stop them! You must help our heroes defeat the fighters and escape... to Kreludor!

How to play

Move the Escape Pod by clicking on the square you wish to move to. It can only move one space at a time, however. Once you have moved, the Virtupets Fighters will then move to intercept you. Click on your escape pod (or press Space) to fire torpedoes out either side. Use the wormholes to teleport to a random location, and collect gems for bonuses. These gems appear in five different colours, each having a unique effect...

• White - Worth one life.
• Green - Cloak the Pod and the enemies will move around in random directions.
• Purple - Add 50 points to the score.
• Red - Emit a powerful shockwave that will destroy surrounding enemy ships.
• Blue - All comets will be destroyed and the Red ships will be downgraded to Grey ships.

The Virtupets Fighters and comets all have predictable movements. Both grey and red ships will always move diagonally towards the Escape Pod. Grey ships can be destroyed if they collide with another grey ship, red ships however will avoid collisions. Comets also move diagonally and cannot be destroyed by the torpedoes. The only way to get rid of them is to find a blue gem located in the later levels.
