Sophie

Sophie is an Ixi who lives alone in a damp hut surrounded only by Meowclops within a swamp of Meridell. She makes it a habit to scare Neopets away from her and sometimes even turning them into Petpets or Petpetpets. Though a little crude in her actions, but is generally a good character, but wishes to be left alone.

Neopets: The Darkest Faerie

During the events of Neopets: The Darkest Faerie, Sophie helped Tormund and Roberta gain access to the Werelupe den and fight the Werelupe King.

Neopets: Tale of Woe

Sophie the Swamp Witch is momentarily better known as the third child of Edmund and Alice, who lived in the old city of Neovia (momentarily abandoned). Their two other children are Bruno and Reginald. Their family was the first to fall in the trap, set by an evil mysterious Krawk who offered mysterious potions to all of the inhabitants of Neovia. Every single person was lured into it, convinced that their one big problem would be resolved. Later on it became clear that the good effects of those potions were completely overshadowed by the evil side effects. The scared inhabitants were furious when the evil effects started to set in and blamed the family, for the Krawk had disappeared. His father ordered Reginald to take the little Ixi, the third child, into the Woods. There they stumbled upon the Earth Faerie Ilere who took the little Ixi with her, as Reginald returned to take his family to an abandoned house where they could hide. In the in Gypsy Camp in the Haunted Woods you can take a look at the story that the mostacioed Elephante is telling to the little Gilly, a passerby.

• Many Sophie related items were added to Neopets on April 6, 2006, including Sophie's Stew, a game in which you help her make a "delicious" stew.
• On April 20, 2006, Sophie was featured in Better Than You with the game Sophie's Stew, in which she scored 1250. The prize was a Shadow Ixi Plushie. Quoted as saying...
