A Glowing Kougra

Glowing is one of the many colours that users can paint their Neopets and Petpets. In general, Glowing pets are a neon green and radiate a faint neon green light. Users can change the colour of their Neopets to Glowing by using a Glowing Paint Brush item at the Rainbow Pool. In addition, the Lab Ray also has a random chance of turning the colour of a user's Neopet to Glowing. Users also have the choice of changing their Neopet's colour to Glowing when they complete a Fountain Faerie Quest. A Neopet's colour can also be changed to Glowing by using an appropriate Morphing Potion. Lastly, there is a very, very small chance that a Neopet's colour will change to Glowing when they eat a Glowing Jelly or Half Eaten Glowing Jelly food item.

The Glowing colour for Petpets was released on May 19, 2003. Petpets can be painted Glowing by using the Glowing Petpet Paint Brush item at the Petpet Puddle. In addition, the Petpet Lab Ray also has a random chance of turning the colour of a user's Petpet to Glowing.
