Neopets 2.0 is a redesign of Neopets which took place on April 27, 2007. With it comes the ability to customize your own pets, more new basic site themes and several other features.
Criticism
The change caused a lot of criticism. The main points were the unability to change pets to their old poses as well as the fact that the new coding caused all layouts for petpages, user lookups and similar to be broken. The latter happened not only due to significant changes to the Neopets layout, but also due to TNT implementing transitional standards on all their pages.
