As of August 2006, a '''NeoQuest lll''' is still a rumour, but it has been alluded to be in the process of creation from the ''Ixi Plushie'' [[Neopets TCG]] in [[The Darkest Faerie]] expansion released November 4, 2005. It still does not exist as of September 2009.


It has been jokingly alluded to in the "[[Ixi]] [[Plushie]]" [[Neopets TCG|trading card]] in [[The Darkest Faerie]] expansion, released November 4, 2005. Its [[wikipedia:vapourware|vapourware]] status has lead to it being used for several hoaxes: fansite [[IDNQ]] featured it in an April Fools' joke in 2005, and several articles about it were published in issue [http://www.neopets.com/ntimes/index.phtml?week=538 #538] of the [[Neopian Times]] for April Fools' 2012.
