Dueling Decks is a Top Trumps style card game that pits players against Zenco the Magnificent. The object of each game is to capture all the opponents cards by comparing attributes of different Neopian characters. It was released on 4 December 2009 and was the tenth game in the New Game Challenge.
How to Play
There are 32 Neopian character cards in the game in total, but just 20 cards are played in each game. You start out the game with 10 cards, and your opponent, Zenco the Mynci, also has 10 cards. A player plays one card at a time, and for each character card, they have three categories: Courage, Charisma, and Intelligence. Choose a category that you think that your card will beat Zenco's card in. Then, when you both show your cards, the player with more points in the chosen category wins the other card. The person who gets all the cards at the end wins the game.

How to play
There are 3 different mode types: Easy, Normal, and Hard. In Easy mode, after losing a card to Zenco, you still get to choose the next category. In Normal mode, after losing a card, Zenco chooses the next category by quickly moving his hand on the three categories, and when you click the button, he'll stop moving his hand and choose the category he's pointing to at that time. In Hard mode, when you lose a card, Zenco gets to choose the next card without your influence at all.
At the start of the game, each player is dealt ten cards of a possible forty. Each card features a different Neopian character, and ranks them in three categories - courage, charisma, and intelligence. The player starts the game - they must choose one category from their first card and see if it beats the same category on Zenco's card. The player with the highest score in that category wins the round and captures their opponent's card. The game continues until one player has captured all twenty cards in play.

The user's score is determined by how many times they have won one of Zenco's cards. To get the highest scores, the user must allow Zenco to recapture some of the cards and take them away from him again.

There are three modes of play. In easy mode, if the user loses a card, they can continue to chose the next category, and each card capture is worth 25 points. In normal mode, Zenco points at each category in turn until the player clicks to stop - the category he stops over is the category that is played. Each card capture is worth 50 points. Finally, in hard mode, Zenco will chose the category without the player's influence at all, and each card capture is worth 100 points.

The user can chose to swap their card with the bonus card, Nightsteed, once per game. This card has fairly high statistics in all categories, but can be beaten in each category by certain other cards. Win or lose, Nightsteed is discarded after that round, and if the user lost the round, Zenco will only get the original card the user swapped out.

List of cards
This is a list of all cards available in the game. It is sortable by each category to see how highly ranked a card is. The bonus card, Nightsteed, is highlighted in gold.
