It is based on collecting gems and time while navigating a vertical cave shaft. There is no ability to change the speed in which the screen scrolls, but the player gets points for having time remaining. It takes longer for the scrolling than the amount of time allotted by the game, so the only time you have at the end are the pieces that you pick up. All gems and time pieces are randomly distributed, meaning that your ability to end with time or score isn't based on any sort of skill, but DUMB luck. This game has serious design problems, though it runs alright and the payout is decent.
