Scintilly was first encountered when users came upon the [[Water Tower Laboratory]]. It rewarded users for collecting solving panel puzzle used to activate the portal leading to ''[[The Coincidence]]''. As it's name was not given at the time, it was simply referred to as "Robot Petpet".

==== Mission: Capture the Comets ==== 

After passing through the portal, users are now aboard the ''[[The Coincidence]]'', a spaceship that orbits Neopia. Once there, users have the option of either completing the next step in the [[Moltara Mystery]], or they could visit Scintilly outside of the ship by purchasing "gear" at the [[NC Mall]] and help it capture comets for prizes.

It was also at this time that Scintilly's name was revealed.
