'''Royal''' is one of the many [[colour]]s that users can paint their [[Neopet]]s and [[Petpet]]s.  In general, Royal pets are dressed to resemble various traditional royal attire from around the world.

The Royal colour for Neopets was released on February 3, 2004.  The only way that a user can change the colour of their Neopets to Royal is by using a ''Royal [[Paint Brush]]'' [[item]] at the [[The Rainbow Pool|Rainbow Pool]].  Royal is one of the few colours that looks different for male and female Neopets.

The Royal colour for Petpets was released on May 27, 2011.  The only way that a user can change the colour of their Petpets to Royal is by using a ''Royal Petpet Paint Brush'' item at the [[The Rainbow Pool#Petpet Puddle|Petpet Puddle]].
