The '''Stock Market''' is a game within [[Neopets]] in which users can invest their [[Neopoints]] into companies for hopes of getting a profit. It was first announced in July 2000, opened for alpha testing August 2nd later that same year and open completely on the 24th. Users can buy a total number of 1000 shares per day, and sell as much as they want to [[Nigel]] the Commodity Broker Chia, who takes a 20 NP commission from each transaction. Also, due to market regulations introduced on February 4th, 2002, users can only purchase shares in companies that are trading at 15 NP or above. The Stock Market is also called the '''Neodaq Index'''.
