Besides '''Halloween''' (also known as ''All Hallows' Eve'') being a spooky day to wander [[Neopia]], it's also a colour your [[Neopet]] can be painted. Each species of Neopets has their own unique appearance. Most pets are based upon traditional figures such as vampires, witches or demons. There are a few that resemble specific Neopian citizens. The more notable ones are [[Moehog]]s (resembling [[Dr. Frank Sloth|Sloth]]), [[Lupe]]s (look like [[Werelupe]]s) and [[Blumaroo]]s (look exactly like [[Count Von Roo]]).

The plot was designed to coincide with Halloween. This was the only time the cursed [[Neovia|Neovian]] citizens could appear. Halloween [[Paint Brush|Paint Brushes]] were among the prizes that users could uncover during the grave digging portion of the plot.

==Bonuses==
*On October 31st, the Halloween sidebar theme is available to all players all day. 
*The sidebar can only be unlocked by refreshing anywhere on site at 11:59pm - 11:59:59pm. 

==Controversy==
Many players have expressed a concern that they are sleeping during the time that the Halloween sidebar is unlocked, such as UK players who would have to be up early in the morning. However, TNT are yet to respond with any news or ways around getting the sidebar theme.
