A '''Dark Faerie''' is one of the six basic [[faerie]]s of [[Neopia]]. Minions of the evil one himself, they tempt those weak of heart with power, but at a price. These evil Faerie abilities include creating darkness and draining life and vision at night. A dark faerie also lives near the [[Wheel of Excitement]] and will put a spell on a user's [[Neopet]] if they're unlucky, making them sick.

Although Dark Faeries as a whole are viewed as evil, this is not true. [[The Darkest Faerie]] helped create the kingdom of [[Altador]] (although she later caused it to be frozen in time), and a Dark Faerie is one of the guardians of the [[Wikipedia:PSP|PSP]] game [[Petpet Adventures: The Wand of Wishing]].

As of yet, no one knows who the evil one the Dark Faeries serve, or what '''HE''' is...
