And getting fifty void essences, I have discovered, updates your "Time is of the Essence" achievement to "Gather 150 essences." I am unclear on whether this is 150 new essences or 100 additional to previous essence. This does imply that they're expecting this act to continue for a while, which grants time to accumulate enough prize points that you can use some of the "buy 15 unique prizes" for prizes you would have bought anyway. (Books and stamps, for me.)

Oh, good catch! I totally forgot about the 50 essence collection Fearless Deed! My progress bar has updated to 33.3%, as well. Must've gotten an extra 10 points for the Fearless Deed, too, because yesterday's possible total was 218.
I guess tomorrow, we'll find out if we have to wait until the end of the week for the 80% bonus prize or not? Fun times.

Hmm. I am at 33% as well and have not bought anything in the prize shop yet. (I will try and remember to get 15 unique items before the end of next week).

Chapter 1 Part 9

The ninth page to the first chapter is up.
Click on the "Collect Prize." This will ONLY show up after you have moused over/clicked on every single panel of the fourth page of the comic.
Grab some more essences (Meridell, 3 in Brightvale, and 3 in Roo Island). Once you have collected your 56th (6th for today if you've not missed any), a "collect reward" button will appear on the hub page under your daily tracking. This will award a random prize from a prize pool and 20 extra points.

Total possible points for today is: 349

The prize pool is ALL OVER the place. I have THOUGHTS about it, but too many to make sense of right now. I will try to get a list of current items (and the prize store) up sometime in the next few days. I got an Eo Codestone. Not the best, but not the worst.

The prize pool is already up to 46 items. Mine is currently worth about 150k. Some are worth as little as 1k, and I've already seen one in the second row that you had to go to SDCC 2019 to get a code for (and is currently worth 500k). Oh, and a 7M BD item.

I think I'm going to stop looking (after the seventh item).

I received a Deluxe Set of Colouring Pencils (~120NP) (No "k" in that value).

I will also wave my magical Admin Wand to allow the double post (as an exception to the rule).

I got a Red Neocola Token. I did not get anything interesting from the Neocola Machine with it and it's not like I can't get plenty of those on my own should I decide to battle the Defender Robot some more.

This has shades of people who learned nothing from the Seasonal Attack Pea thing.

The good news is that we'll have several more chances for one of the better prizes, considering the next goal is to reach 150, and there's one more after that's presumably higher.

Even assuming the next goal is only another 100 higher, that's 180 more/70 max points per week = at least another 3 weeks at bare minimum.

Hopefully at least one of us gets one of the highest prizes --- unless there are enough complaints that TNT culls the prize pool. (They could cull it at the bottom end. Blue's prize was a joke.)

We should also hit the first community goal before this wave ends, assuming everyone keeps participating at the same rate.

I forgot to note yesterday that they've added the exclamation points to the drop-down menu on mobile, so if there's an update to the story, you can quickly tell (though you still need to click on the menu to see it).

No story today. I have 399 points after collecting my void essence.

As a reference point, the community number is now up to: 3,881,150. I believe we came close to 1/3 of the way through yesterday, so it may be less than my original predicted 25 days.

Today's the last day of the chapter, so there's a warning to finish everything from the chapter before end of day!

Will post more details, but wanted to share the warning right away.

Edit: You'll receive one point for reading the dialogue warning the chapter is ending, and 50 points for the daily void essence collection, bringing the max total to 551.

Note that the first chapter is ending, not the first act, so you only need to collect the prizes for reading the pages of the chapter. The act achievements can't all be completed yet. Considering we're at 33% act completion at the end of chapter one, it does seem likely that act one is three chapters long.

Thanks Siniri. The chapter vs act ending makes sense. With 551 total points, it is not yet possible to purchase/claim 15 unique items from the prize shop or gather 150 void essences. Also, have we seen a "seasonal event" to attend?

551 points here. I guess we can probably expect chapters to be 10 pages long? Maybe? Also, with that last one, we might see the first round of battling here soon, seeing as it looks like there were some malicious-looking void-beings in Brightvale...
