Blue! I made a deposit to a Roth IRA in the eleventh hour, which turned into a full return of the federal taxes I owed (thanks to the retirement credit). For some reason last year, I applied my return to this year's, plus I used only half the ACA premium credits I was entitled to, so I'm getting nearly half my retirement contribution back. Not bad!

(I mean, I shouldn't have made an interest-free loan to the government, and I've fixed that for next year by taking more of my credit, but it's nice I had the money to make the contribution, and I'll get a good chunk of it back).

I owed the state several hundred dollars, as always. Maybe I'll figure out how to actually make payments during the year this year so I don't get the penalty next year. (They make you jump through some hoops to do the quarterly payments).

Oh, and after remembering to do my dailies during my 13 hour work day Friday, both days on the weekend despite my taxes and other busy-ness... I totally just never visited Neopets Monday! I guess because I had plenty of time, I never felt like I had to get it done right then.

So yep, a great round ruined by a reset. Oh, well. No matches for days 1 and 2.

I usually shovel as much as I can manage into my work 401k contribution. Pre-tax money in the bank is always better than post-tax money
