Thanks to a kind friend, I've got a FQ cookie, so I'm up for either Order (RQ) or Thieves (stocks). But I always worry about those pesky Brutes spoilers... Then again, their boons are so bad, maybe a booby prize would be better, anyway!

Order or Thieves works for me. I just need to actually sign up this week. The last two weeks were far too busy. This week, I am on vacation.

I'd almost prefer Thieves this week, just because I'm going to probably going to have super minimal time (and possibly no internet access via computer?) over the weekend we'd have boons, and stocks are faster than cookies.

You're lucky, Blue! I never get a vacation, even when we're on vacation! That's how it is with kids, though!

Enjoy your vacation, Blue! Thanks to some lurking, I've discovered that a couple of big obelisk guilds are supposedly joining Order this time. People really want the cookie boon because of the pending war. (As do I...)

I'm going to join the Order - hopefully you can at least squeeze a minute or two to use a cookie each day, Pickles! (Assuming we win...) I just don't know that we have the manpower to beat more than one battle guild and win any boons at all on our own...

I'll join up with Order, but whether or not I risk using a cookie (and potentially losing out on half or more of it) is another question entirely. Worst case scenario, I'll go with the Faerie Caverns boon.

For the 3rd week in a row, I missed the sign-up. This time by 2 minutes

Ugh, Blue. Bummer.

Apparently I didn't sign up? I thought I had, but I didn't. Ah well.

Bummer! Well, apparently my bandwagoning with the huge guilds worked, and I went with the FQ refresh boon. It already paid off the first day by swapping air faerie for dark faerie, saving me three red codestones. Woot!

My next refresh: I refreshed level hoping for something with more free trainings, got gray faerie (warf, found in petpet shop for 1377 NP after haggling)... and got level. I didn't even check carefully what the original quest was, but it wasn't one of the "junk" cards, so I came out around the same or maybe a little ahead by refreshing (cheapest cards are around 1k, with some 2-3k).

Today's refresh was light for light again (though directly this time). I ended up paying 1698 for the second card. The first was worth 2119, so I saved 421 NP.

The days I didn't refresh, I got grey (which gave me strength), dark, water, and soup (which gave me strength and level, the two stats I sort of don't need right now...). I ramped up level to rapid train in the secret ninja school, and I've already caught strength up to 550+. I need to catch defence and HP up before going up to the next training level. I'll need the strength and levels eventually, but quests and training bonuses have already used up 9 of the 24 levels of buffer I left before the next boost....

Anyway, at least the cookie is making up for all the times I can't train. Let's see... I need 296 HP, 339 defence, 41 strength, 15 level, and then ~180 more HP if I want to squeeze everything I can out of this training level. And I need all that by November/December (and then some, so I can get to the 600 strength boost and the level 300 ability). We still have the faerie festival coming up, and I can buy more cookies, but I don't know how much FQing I can do at the rate I'm burning through these levels. *sigh*

I know 1 red codestone is still cheaper than an armoured negg, but maybe I should consider forgoing the defence for now anyway just to increase my chances of getting the strength boost and ability.

ETA: Well, dang. Armoured neggs are worth over 100k now. I wish I had access to my stockpile, though I'm not sure I'd sell them. JS should really drop more neggs (especially with KQ gone for so long) and fewer bottled faeries in the BD. They only dropped so many faeries at the start because everyone needed them, but the market is ridiculously oversaturated at this point.

New skirmish coming up! Awakened, Sway, or Brutes... I'd love to get a consensus before joining a faction, but I'm working late tonight and may not remember. Brutes have awful boons, and Awakened's are random, but Sway has the stock boon, the quest boon, the bank boon, and the shop boon that Daze likes, so it really has something for everyone.

I've heard other groups are going with Brutes, but since I don't like their boons, I'm taking a chance with Sway. Anyone want to join my wagon?

Bummer, P! I just finished my minimum. I needed a few minutes to vegetate. I replaced all of the brake pads on my car (front and back) this morning. I made sure to get out and do them early because it is still crazy hot here. I also needed to go and have my windshield replaced. I kept the guy company in the shop while he did it. He did a great job overall, and went "above and beyond" on the install for me. It was hot in there, too, but well worth hanging out to ensure a good job

I didn't manage much, but the Sway won! Woot woot!

Now should I buy a cookie or use the stock boon? Decisions, decisions... How likely are cookies to go on sale during the pending festival? If I wait, I can buy twice as many... But can I use them all before the plot?

Yay, Sway! I will be traveling this week, so I just went with the bank boon.
