Day 2 (today): Fire, refreshed for Water, 888nps, +3 Def to my back-up pet

Oh, I guess I could have posted my results here... Thanks to a kind Neopian, I managed to get my hands on a cookie, after all. I used 3 refreshes for 177,517 NP worth of value (based on the current average prices of training 1 stat with 3 regular codestones). I think this is the most profitable boon I've ever had!

I only ended up refreshing 3 times, twice which turned into Air, once Water, so it was kinda a wash, since those stats go to my back-up pet. So far, though, the cookie has netted me 6HP and 4 LVLs for my battle pet, and I have had an additional Dark Faerie quest pop up from who knows where, so it's not been a total waste of a cookie. (I've noticed that I tend to get more quests that are useful whenever refresh comes along, so I've been saving my cookies for those weeks...)

I am trying to get my main pet's level up and am training daily. This week, I planned to refresh to attempt faeries that give level rewards. I ended up with +2 levels, but only ended up refreshing only one time for an Air Faerie quest... and refreshed into another Air Faerie quest. Ah well, as long as I have a cookie, this is an awesome boon.

Frustratingly enough, while I was purchasing the item for my cookie quest today (which was of course, one I wanted to refresh, but it was past the end of the boon), I got this RE:

A friendly faerie passed by to give you a quest, but you're already on one so she flew away. Oh well. Maybe next time.

Bad luck, Pickles. I once got a FQ when I clicked the back button to return to the SW just after completing a quest. It was annoying not to be able to use the SW for the quest, but at least I still got to do it.

And until TNT fixed it, there were a few times when I had unknown NC quests for who-knows-how-long, blocking me from any other quests!

Anyway, Sway has the stock boon that I enjoy, and it has several other good boons as well. Anyone else have a favorite?

Edit Wed. morning: Since there was no reply, I went ahead and joined Sway. Bandwagon, anyone? Hopefully you like either the refresh quest boon, the stock boon, and/or the bank boon...

Well, I managed to barely get in my minimum tonight. Whew. Cutting it close to the wire this time!


ETA: Got the boons! As I totally forgot to check before collecting interest (which is actually not the best boon for me), I opted for the refresh quest boon, though I was tempted by the stocks boon, as it's also a good one.

Yay, Bandwagon! I managed well above the minimum this time. I chose the stock boon this time because I have sold off nearly everything over the last few months and did not replenish. Buy-in at 10 is a great deal

Just cracked open my cookie (I usually wait until late in the day to do it, so that there's more of a chance of me being able to get the 10th quest in). I had a Grey faerie quest. I figured, that's essentially random, so if I refresh, I'll at least get to pick which pet the stats go to (instead of hoping for it to be the right pet for the stat that is awarded). I got a Dark faerie quest, asking for a 5np item. Yep. Even if I don't need to refresh a single other time this whole week, the boon just waaaay paid for itself versus the stock (35k savings) or bank (less than stocks earnings).

ETA: Holy cow, you guys. 7 days of quests. *one* of them was a Soup faerie, which I didn't refresh (since she has historically given me either level or hp along with something else).
EVERY. SINGLE. OTHER. QUEST. I. REFRESHED. (because they were useless stats for my battle pet.)
Got the following: Dark, Light, Soup, Soup, Faerie Queen, Battle. That turned into 6 levels, and 13 Hps (plus 2 other Hps from the Soup Faerie quest I didn't refresh). That's not including the other 17 points in stats that I don't need. Y'all do the math, at 6 red codestones a piece...

Just....WOW. Best time I've ever had with this boon. EVER!

Congrats, P! Thieves, Order, or Brutes this time... I didn't think I had time for battling, but I just realized it's the perfect partner activity for early SlSl, so I think I'd like to try... Maybe it won't require much effort since most people will be focused on the AC.

Thieves or Order would be preferable for me. I'll have little (if any) time to play this weekend, as we have company in town for most of it, so I'll go with the bandwagon.
