Tobias seriously didn't have the time to talk or comfort the girl, so with a quick movement he pulled out his laptop, took a few pictures of the scene, and packed it away again. Tobias pushed his way back through the now substantially larger mob of people gawking and out to the onther side of the footpath. "How am I gonna eat lunch after seeing that...?" he wondered to himself aloud. 'Hmmm, that doctor that examined the mysterious death of those woman has an office around here, though, its not quite on my path today.'

((Aah... sorry guys. >.< I haven't been around much lately... tell me if I'm too late, okay?))
Her eyes couldn't seem to open. It seemed as though she was decomposing, melting into the cool steel table.
She certainly smelt like it.
"Mrs. Zalika?" A spatula-like device was slid between her eyelids, and they were pried open.
THE LIGHT! Like an infant first emerging into the world, Viveca found herself temporarily stunned.
She tried to ask where she was... but all that emerged from her dehydrated lips was a formless gurgle.
The pale green walls and the template stench of death was enough to answer her question, anyway.
Suddenly, it seemed as though a great weight had been lifted off her. The man standing next to her, obviously a doctor judging by his sterile costume and characterless face, held the end of a drip in his hand.
"That should be better..." he said, partly to himself. "Mrs. Zalika, you seem troubled."
Viveca glared, and decided she would learn to speak again.
"YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT I'M TROUBLED! What the hell do you think you're doing, imprisoning me in this establishment without my EXPRESSED PERMISSION! Did you even call a family member!? Oh God, you'll be seeing a lawyer about this!"
Her eyes rolled into her head, and she blacked out for a moment.
"Mrs. Zalika... Viveca... calm down. You're still weak from the accident."
"Oh, come on. I have no visible scars, do I?! That means that there CAN'T have been an accident."
"Viveca, I'm afraid..."
"WHAT?!"
"It wasn't a physical accident. You... you seemed to be torn apart... from the inside."
Viveca spat at the doctor, and lept to her feet. She didn't seem any worse for wear... so she decided to simply leave.
Torn apart from the inside... honestly, who would believe that?

Zia glared at the woman. 'Can't they just leave me alone,' she thought, exasperated. She quietly turned away, in the direction of the pharmacy. Zia didn't particularly like drama. She'd rather keep quiet. 'There's no reason to pause my life, there never is. When something happens, just keep moving.'
Zia looked up as she came to the pharmacy's door. She heard the familiar sound of the bell as she walked in. She saw a girl, an old man, and a guy with his arm folded. To Zia's dismay they were all watching the TV. 'Oh great,' Zia thought, 'here we go again.
"Hi guys," she said. Everyone turned and looked at her. "Zia! Oh my god, are you alright?" screamed her co-worker. "Yes, yes, I'm alright. I just dropped by to get some aspirin," she said to Madeline as she made her way to the medicine section. "Can anyone give me a ride home?" she dreaded the thought of going back to the bus stop.
"Well," replied the old man, "John can. He's going home now." John unfolded his arms and looked up. He never talked to Zia, so why give her a ride home? "If I must," he said, obviously a little annoyed. "Thanks," mumbled Zia. She never understood why the guy didn't like. 'I've never done anything to him, for god's sake,' she thought as she picked up some Tylenol.

"Oh my God!" Danny screamed as he saw the man start to float, "Who...who, what are you!?!"
The man said something but Danny couldn't hear what it was. The Dr. Zeus started to float. Dr. Zeus started to shake, like a rag doll being played with by an infant. His head was shaking, his whole body was shaking then it just stopped and he fell to the floor. He didn't move but drool fell from his mout into a small puddle on the ground.
"Oh my God" Danny exclaimed once again
Tue Aug 03, 2004 9:50 pm
Axel smiled as Dr. Zeus lay dead on the ground, soul-less. Axel raised his finger and moved a strand of his silver hair away from his eyes. He turned to Danny, "Would you like to be next?"
Tue Aug 03, 2004 11:18 pm
"Oh God no!" Danny pleaded, he didn't want to die, "Well if you are going to kill us at least take me and let her go! We havn't done anything to you, at least only kill one of us, me I mean."
He motioned to Lynn to run. When she did he would jump in front of the door and take the blow. Danny wanted to do something meaningful with his life and if saving someone was ithe would do it!

Lynn couldn’t believe what had just happened. “What’s the matter with you?” She spat at the floating… thing. “Humans do not get the best life possible, that’s just a lie! Each human is different, some humans live wonderful lives, some humans make tons of money, live in luxury, and some don’t! Some people have been cast into the dark from their birth, and remain there today if they haven’t died of starvation yet, because they don’t get the meal either- and even getting crumbs would be damn lucky for them. You don’t appear to be human to me, but if you look a little harder you’ll find that there are thousands of people that don’t seem too different from yourself. You wouldn’t have been alone, but you are now. You’ve been turned into some demon, or something close too it anyway, because of your hate.” She said angrily.
“And I’m not running, Danny. And I’m not leaving you here to die, because I don’t know about you- but I have a lot more days left in this life of mine.”

Viveca tried desperately to remember what she was doing before the "accident", then it hit her.
The appointment with Zeus!
She broke into a run, which was difficult in her awkward high-heels that had been left on during her stay at the hospital. The resulting tinea made taking every step torturous, but she had no time to wince.
"At least... Zeus' office... is close!" she panted as she saw the all-too-familiar door.
Viveca raced up to it and peered in the window...

Tobia paused as he saw a girl of about his age running off in the opposite direction, she was obviously late for something. Just another block later he was there at subway, his primal human instincts told him he was very hungry but the blood and mess of the incident outside of the park told his brain he wasn't. "Stupid brain" he said aloud as he entered and ordered a ham sub.
Tobias munched nonchalently on his sub as the world passed by infront of him, police cars and an ambulence zoomed off lights flashing back towards the park. 'I'll probably get a full story of whatever happened on the news tonight, I hope that girl is ok though, she seemed out of it, must of never seen death before' he thought sombrely as he remembered his uncles open casket funeral when he was ten. His uncles nose had stuck out of the casket and they ended up having to pay for a larger one.
With a mouthfull of ham Tobias yawned.

Axel rolled his eyes at the Lynn's pathetic arguement.
"Spare me the tears young lady, I do not care. Now if you don't mind I..."
Axel paused, he began to look around, he heard sirens, it was most definately the sirens of police. He swiftly landed on the ground, and peered at the young girl.
'Idiot' he thought and began to walk towards the window.
Dr. Zeus' office wasn't high at all, he could see people walking past him calmly, without him squinting at all. He turned back to face the two terrified humans, "Goodbye," he said as he piveted and punched the glass.
The shards flew around him quickly, finding a place to land. The window was no longer, Axel walked through and ignored the severe cuts and blood on his fist. He saw an old lady with a frightened look, carrying her groceries which were now in contact with the pavement. Axel shrugged his shoulders to whip off any shards left and walked down the street as if nothing had happened.
'Thankfully the office was facing the back of the building or else I would've killed some officers,' thought Axel as he began to laugh.

With great difficulty, Kylie tore herself away from the scene of the crash. Locating a policeman, she was assured that her vehicle would be taken away from the scene later and kept in a lot until she could pick it up. Still slightly shocked at the kindness of the police force (since when
did the police take care of cars and stuff?), she decided to take the bus home. Glancing at the timetable, she saw that her bus wouldn't come for another hour.
That's what I get for living out in the boonies, she thought ruefully to herself.
I might as well get something to eat while I'm waiting.
Entering a conveniently near Subway, she ordered her sandwich and scanned her surroundings for somewhere to sit. Noticing a bloke yawning through a mouthful of ham who looked familiar, she walked over. "You were just at the accident, weren't you?" Shiloh asked, skipping the preamble of greetings and introductions.
((i need to get my name straight >.<

"Well that was...different," Danny said, still shaken, "I amsorry I told you to run, I didn't..uh..know or whatever."
Danny then remeber Dr. Zeus. He ran to the body but ther was no pulse and he wasn't breathing.
"He is dead"

“Damn it.” Lynn said, falling to her knees. She was shaking, obviously much more scared than she had appeared only a few minutes ago. “That must be the thing that’s been killing every one…” She said. "We have too..." But before she could finish, she fainted, falling completely over onto the floor.

Police and Ambulance sirens could be hear from afar. They were heading to Dr. Zeus', someone had informed them of the accident. A police car pulled up near the front of the building and two policemen walked out of their car and in the building. The Channel 6 News van was not far behind and neither was the ambulance.

Zia quietly looked out the window of the Camry. People walking by, some happy, some sad. She looked at John and then forward. She was feeling hungry, and was sure there was a Subway somewhere near.
"You can drop me off here, I need to get some food," she said quietly to John. "You sure?" Zia nodded. She got out of the car headed towards the door. She took a look around only to a man and a woman. 'Isn't he the one that approached me?'[/i] she tought, And she was there too'. She raised an eyebrow at this coincidence.
