I saw it a few times and realy liked it, it wasn't as good as the stage version but that was to be expeced...and the blood looked realy fake...and someone should have told Tim Burton that the musical was comedic, not a slasher film with music.

I thought that the "fake looking" blood was on purpose. The blood was actually orange on set.

And now the question: How does a thirteen-year-old convince his parents to let him see it?!

Tell them you wish to see an Historical musical.

Yeah, but they're, like, uber-protective. There's a rape scene.

I'm thinking of auditioning for this musical next week. I hear it's very vocally demanding... sounds like fun!

Sounds like lots of onstage deaths. Start practicing your dying skills right away!

i can tell you this kym, it is more than just vocally demanding. It's a vocal diva.

as weird as it may sound, I auditioned for the role of sweeney and truly it is not fun. You have to convey every single emotion just with your voice let alone act it.
I ended up being the understudy for Sweeney, but really I lost my voice half the time.
and yes I get cast as a boy alot.....yay for androgyny!

Oh sweet! You have to record the songs. At least "Pretty Women", or "Epiphany"... Or "A little priest". Heck, record the whole play...
