Ew, that's ridiculous. I can see a game being $60 for 360 and PS3, since most of the games for them seem to be, but I would sure hope it isn't on PS2 (that would be outrageous). It's rather pointless to get the game without all of the other stuff. At least you don't have to rebuy the guitar if you already have it, and possibly the mic. Still $140 PLUS tax.

Meh, even I have my spending limits when it comes to buying games I want. I want to play it, but even if I had the money, I would never be willing to spend $170 to play what is essentially Guitar Hero with drums and vocals (and I probably wouldn't use the vocals anyway). x_x

Bah, I SURELY hope they change their mind on the prices.

At this time prices are not finalized for any Rock Band products. Or so says a Harmonix rep. Those rumored prices are just rumors and looking at them I doubt that's what the prices are.

I'm pretty sure those prices are just random prices that popped up on gamespot.com or something just as a rumored price or something for preorder. I could see it as $150 though including all the instruments, which really would only be worth it if your family is big or you have friends that'd play it. I'm not getting Rock Band because I don't want to buy a console. xD

So, in Guitar Hero II...I still need to beat Jordan and 5-star Freya (ugh this is like much harder to 5-star compared to the other ones I haven't yet), Carry Me Home, Psychobilly Freakout, and everything in the last set except for Hangar 18 (I can't even pass Freebird now >_>). Oh, and actually play some bonus tracks.

Hehe, I 5-starred one or two that I need to do, and 4-starred some that I had 3 stars on. I still have a rather extensive list to 5-star and I can't even 5-star everything on Hard yet. >_> I borrowed my friend's guitar a couple of days ago so that I could actually play for once. xD

Woman
Who Was in My Room Last Night?
Tattooed Love Boys (4 Stars)
Crazy on You (4 Stars)
Rock This Town
Freya
Bad Reputation (this one is ticking me off, because I'm doing very well, and still 4-starring it)
And... the next two sets. xD

I'm also REALLY close to 5-Starring Beast and the Harlot, and I have 4 stars on Freebird.

I have a lot of work to do. :x

Oh, and I ALMOST beat Jordan. I got to the end of the solos, and then failed (I know it's all extremely easy past that part.) It made me mad, so I'll be doing it some more. xD

For me, I can't beat Freya on Expert, or Bad Reputation, the 2 worst songs EVER. Still need to beat Jordan on Expert. I have 55 of 64 songs on Medium with 100%.

And those prices are RUMOURED, the prices can still change. I am glad it is for the PS2 now, even if it does come a few months later, now I don't have to buy a new console.

I will not attempt to 5-star Freya until someone holds a gun to my head and tells me to do so. It hurts my wrists way too much, and the last thing I need is ANOTHER inflamed muscle/joint.

I don't mind playing Bad Reputation, because I find it someone fun (though it makes me mad), but I've gotten about 97% and still can't 5-star it (because I suck at the part that plays out like Beast and the Harlot where you have to hit a bunch of greens, and then a double note, more greens and different double, rinse and repeat) I'm just terrible at it, so I can't keep a combo up to get my score up. I think I have... 98056 on it? Not sure what the cut-off is for 5-stars is, though, 100000? Eh, I was always confused by the grading system. I used to think it went by percent, and then was told it was score, which makes things considerably easier, I think.

I've also started finding Beast and the Harlot as one of the more fun songs on Expert (used to think it was Rock This Town, but I'm too rubbish at it. xD)

Edit: oops, I put my BatH score instead of Bad Reputation.
Edit2: And I just got 4 stars with 103### points. x_x

These games are so addicting! I like to play sometimes, I'm still on Medium...but I prefer to watch people play the harder songs.

I like watching my boyfriends brother play songs on expert, cause he's fun to watch. He did Hangar18 on Expert last night and was awesome. :D

Um, Kuge, a way that you can see how close you are for 5-starring is to check your multiplier - 2.8x gives a 5-star I believe.

Misirlou is the most fun song in Expert for me. I do so bad at it :3 Rock This Town is pretty good too.

Bad Reputation is weird. When I 5-starred it, I got like 30k more points that the last time I played that song. :| Hm. And I'm actually not that far from 5-starring Beast and the Harlot. Just 40k to go...;_; *tries again...later* And I need like 40k points more for Freebird too. XD That one might be easier since I messed up on the beginning and stuff.

The multiplier actually has no effect on the number of stars you get.

According to ScoreHero, you will need 130,382 points to 5 star Bad Reputation.

This page will show how many points you need to 4* or 5* a song. Just select 4* or 5* cutoff, then the game, and then the difficulty.

30k more for Bad Reputation!? *throws up in mouth*

I need 40k for Beast and the Harlot and... 60k for Freebird. D:

Well, practice, practice, practice. Even though I did Bad Reputation alone for like 45 minutes. D:

Well, the multiplier is all dependent on the score anyway, so it kind of does indirectly. I mean, at least this page says something about it but whatever.

*goes to try freebird/beast and the harlot again XD* I seriously have like no chance with 5-starring the other ones.

Didn't you say you 5-Starred "Rock This Town"? O_O

Isn't that the song you had the MOST trouble with? xD
