I am going to try that one now. I have beaten the other two once each, although it says I didn't fight the second one yet. I got to the page where it crowned me the winner though. Does that mean I have to fight it again? Sorry for all the questions, I just have no idea what I am doing.

Happened to me several time, battle still never counted even though I won :x

up to 16 wins now :)

I'm still getting a blank page right after I click the 1 player options. :x

I guess I'll have to accept my 4 wins against the elm. Was hoping I could finish off with 5 at least. That would have brought my totla battles to 200 instead of 199.

current favorite error message trying to battle "ERROR : Oops! - You do not appear to own this pet"

this morning the lag isn't quite as bad...-7 am nst- which is good :D
just a quick question, does anyone know how many times you can beat them to max out?

Wow, skimming though this thread makes me almost glad my pet is too weak to fight anymore. At least I'm saved the frustration you guys are having.

TNT really should had done something about it. The answer they have in the editorial was no excuse at all. Reading it made me mad, and I'm not even trying to battle any more!

ARGH! I finished a fight... and lost against the WEAKLING... He just keeps healing himself back up.

I hope we're not expected to survive each wave in order to complete the plot because then I'm a gonner.

Thanks tippey, that worked. I won my first Tree fight!

I've beaten the first tree once and the hardest one about 5 times. I can't seem to manage to get the middle one to work. I'd like to beat it at least once before I go back to the sycamores.

That depends on your pet's stats. And at the moment, the lag is probably more of a limitation than stats for even weaker pets.

Ok this is my first battle plot, and actually the first time my pets have battled at all, so maybe I'm just not understanding...but can someone explain why everyone's so eager to beat every tree fifteen thousand times? It seems to me that the people fighting repeat battles, after already having defeated the trees once, are probably contributing hugely to the lag (especially the fact that it doesn't seem to be improving). Is there some reason why everyone does this, or are they just impatient to be doing *something*, so they keep fighting?

Because in wars you were awarded points for each battle you won, and the stronger the opponent was the more points you earned. If this were being scored like a war, it would look something like this.

Challenger A -1 point
Challenger B -2 points
Challenger C -3 points

If you fought each opponent once, you'd earn 6 points. If you fought each opponent 3 times, you'd earn 18. If you fought them each 100 times, you'd earn 600 points. So no, people aren't fighting more than once without reason. Unless TNT states specifically that fighting them more than once isn't going to earn you that many more points, since they have stated it does count for something unlike in the LDP, it's not going to get better until the really hard challengers come.
