His Dark Materials

Controversial but good - anybody else like the trilogy? :D In case you're wondering, it's the Northern Lights/the Golden Compass (in NA), the Subtle Knife, and the Amber Spyglass. I'm on the Subtle Knife right now, and I must say it's rather interesting, though Golden Compass was extremely intriguging and unput-a-downable. XD

Yeah I read the first two and I actually really like it, but then I started getting worried over the direction the plot was taking here by the end of the 2nd one, the 3rd one confirmed this and that's when I lost interest.

Meh, personal opinion. Could've been really good if he didn't go and spoil it by bringing religion into the picture.

I'm gonna reread it, as soon as I get access to a library card and can borrow #1 in the trilogy.

There's already a thread on HDM, here. Next time you want to make a topic, go up to the search function and make sure no one's already made a topic about it.

(yes, I realize the original topic is old, but let's keep the Library neat and tidy, 'kay? :P )
