benladesh - Surfboards drop from Ligators in the Kerning sewers.

o_0 - I highly doubt there'll be less hackers. With so many people migrating from gMS (with a lot of hackers), there's bound to be plenty of them.

On a sidenote: patch! Aqua Road is coming out, along with an improved interface, Cash Shop stuff, and experimental hair coupons.

AQUA! *excitement* I was originally going to stay up until the patch ended, but then they had to extend it 2 hours. I'm going to bed now ;_;

...and the patch is still being done now, 5 hours later. no matter. AQUA! *squeals* I've been waiting for ever just for this, and now it's here! and now all the cool items dropped by aqua things can be gotten. like my level 30 axe

Yay Aquaroad! I was getting tired of leveling... time to do some new quests! :D

:( Stop such gloating of this new exciting place, my current computer decides that the patch is just too much for it, gives up, and dies. Has anyone experienced the new beginnner skills? Tell me more!

I haven't experienced them yet because I can't decide which 2 to max out. Right now it's looking like the snail skill (because def. ignore rocks) and the speed skill

What? the snail skill does something to defence?? oh well, i maxed the speed and healing skills. Aqua has brought a whole new importance to haste, since you can bouce like across the map in a single bound if you're fast enough

The snail skill ignores all defense :) Basically, you can now kill ANY monster in the game, provided

1) You stay alive
2) You have enough snail shells

A good exampe is Thanatos. You can stay near the right side of the map since he can't really hurt you there, and then kill him with the snail skill :D

The Maple Story community on LiveJournal is planning an event where parties are being formed and shells gathered so that they can go around kill various monsters with the skill (such as Crimson Balrog, Vikings, etc) ^__^

I've just recently gotten back into Maplestory with a new character and I'm wondering what would be a good level to be at to enter the dungeon? I'm probably not even close, but I'm getting kind of bored.

Mon Jul 31, 2006 10:59 pm

Sleepywood dungeon, mages can go at like level 18 if you're done well. most other characters need probably nearer to level 25. El Nath Dungeon and Aqua dungeon, don't even bother. they're just insane. the weakest thing in aqua dungeon is like level 82 :o

Fri Aug 04, 2006 3:42 am

Wow, I got to El Nath using a level 18 warrior and now I can't seem to get back to Orbis without getting killed!! Also, I got to Aqua Road and got the chair. Exploring Aqua's fun!! Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. What do we do? We swim, swim, swim! :o

I got my cleric to level 70 today, so i'm officially a priest :D
