Actually, what's happened is that there's been a rumour that Bruce Campbell would be playing Quentin Beck (who is Mysterio in the comics) but so far there's been no confirmation of Bruce's role.

There is a new trailer somewhere on YouTube that actually features venom, but it's filmed in a theater and has awful quality
