Actually, if you have enough funding for the character, then that should be faster. There are plenty of training spots that have mobs of monsters. I did a strange build for my Ice/Lit by getting Half Lit first, Med, then working on Ice Beam. I was able to fight kitties with Lit since they mob really well, and toward the end of training there was able to use Ice to 1-hit them. I chose to get only Half Lit in order to have Ice in time to fight Red Drakes.
Since the majority of iDB people are in Scania, I chose to make the character there as well. And as a result, I'm having the hardest time now since the most efficient training for me is Wraiths which is constantly full since they made the deepest part of the subway insanely good for Wraith mobbing. And apperently it's the most efficient mob in the game right now since there are high-level mages training there.

The thing that put me off leveling my Ice further, even thought I love the character, I think we're terribly stitched up. We only get four new monsters in Ludi, all above the level 70 range when we'll be on Bains anyway.
Even in Aqua Road, we get NO ice or lightning weak monsters.
(no lightning in Aqua Road...

)

Um, exactly, they really screwed Ice/Lit in training. One newbcleric even had the gall to tell me to back to Lorang/Clang when I was trying to train on Wraiths. Like I'm not allowed to since they aren't Lit-weak or something. So my reply was to go back to ZLT since it'd be less efficient for them too
Edit-in: Actually, they recently released strong monsters in Aqualand on JMS, I think, and it's possible they're Lit-weak which would be good for once you get to a really high level, lol (Good luck getting to that level, right? XD)

It's so... pathetic? The Fire Racoon isn't even weak to ice. O_O?
I saw some pictures of the new monsters in the screenshot section of Sleepywood. I'll look for them when the site is up.
But, everyone is like... 'Thunder is good for Ludi' when, most are weak to fire, and the same to ice. Which is two monsters.
Fire get El Nath... we get nowhere. And for me, ice and medi first. Max lightning at 58. Ewwww... I find it so useful. And medi not.
And the problem is, at 'that level', we get 3 other things to train on.

Heehee.

So do the two of us, we've just read up on our Ludi. Did you play BETA release? I'm not sure how far back Summer 2004 relates to Maple history, I'm sure it must've been BETA, or at least, at the beginning of Global. Some people comment how quickly we got Cash Shop/3rd job/(to be) Ludi.

I played Beta, then started over when the actual game release in summer of 04, the 3rd job didnt really take that long since only the GREAT players reached to level 70 before the release, I reached lvl. 70 before it came out but it gave me some time to help newbies play better for several months having fun instead of hard training, but I actually stopped playing completely now

Yeah, I wasn't with the first group of people who got to a high level, my high-level character was only created after I got my first (perfect-STATed) character to Bandit which was really like my third character. The only time reference I can remember was being level 30 on December 15th, and periods of power-training from them til now got me to level 62. Skunk over on iDB was able to get his sin to Hermit with roughly one level a day from 50 to 70 O_O So, I'm really not sure how he did it short of a caffine IV-drip something-or-other XD

I'm guessing you got the Sammy since that's the only cut you can get at both hair salons.

This link shows all the hair salon's different cuts.

Yeah, you do, it's awesome. I've managed to kill 3 of my friends there though. Kuge, stay out of the way of the pirates.
I want to VIP Hair and Face coupons though. I have a look in mind.
